"I first visited Santa Fe, New Mexico, in the spring of 1998 and I felt like I was in heaven. What a paradise for an artist...not only the natural beauty of that part of our country, but the rich surroundings of galleries and artwork which make this unique city an international art mecca. This image was inspired by the beautiful adobe buildings of the area, specifically the Museum of Art, as captured here, bathed in brilliant sunlight. I used a spray bottle with water, misting the surface to help create texture on the building."
